Chittorgarh, Rajasthan | November 2025:
Mewar University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) under its Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (IITM CODE) initiative. The agreement marks the establishment of an IITM CODE Chapter at Mewar University to enhance academic collaboration, digital learning, and student employability.
Through this collaboration, students and faculty members of Mewar University will gain access to IIT Madras’ prestigious online and blended learning programs, including IITM Diploma and BS Degree programs, SWAYAM–NPTEL certifications, faculty development programs, and other digital education initiatives coordinated under IITM CODE.
The IITM CODE Chapter aims to:
· Facilitate participation of students and faculty in IIT Madras’ diploma and certificate programs.
· Organize collaborative workshops, training sessions, and mentoring activities.
· Strengthen academic-industry linkages through quality digital education.
· Enhance the employability and skill set of students through IITM-certified programs.
Mr. Kapil Nahar, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Mewar University, has been designated as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for this collaboration.
The partnership represents a significant milestone in promoting the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) goals of academic collaboration and digital inclusivity.
