Introduction:
Mewar University is offering talented students a chance to pursue higher education from Mewar University at Zero Fees. The selected students will receive a 100% Scholarship in Tuition Fees and Hostel Fees both during the years of study at the University.
About Mewar University:
Mewar University, promoted by the Mewar Education Society (MES), Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) is an autonomous body set up through the promulgation of an ordinance by the Government of Rajasthan in 2008, which was passed by the Rajasthan Assembly through Act. No. 4 of 2009. The University is also approved by the University Grants Commission u/s 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956, with the right to confer degree u/s 22(1) of the UGC Act vide letter No.F.9-15/2009 (CPP-I) dated 30th March 2009. The University is a Member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University is also approved u/s 12B of the UGC Act, 1956 and NAAC ‘A’ accredited. Various courses of the University as per the mandate of the government of India are also recognized by the concerned Indian Government Statutory Regulatory Authorities/Councils such as the Bar Council of India, Pharmacy Council of India, National Council for Teacher Education, and All India Council for Technical Education.
Mewar University provides world-class infrastructure to its students, creating an excellent learning environment and a cosmopolitan ambience. The university presently encompasses 12.50 Lac sq.ft. of constructed area and continues to add around 1,00,000 sq. ft. area annually. The university has approximately 10,000 students at present. Most students (more than 75%) belong to SC, ST, OBC & Minority categories and represent far-flung areas of almost all the country’s states. 90% of the students are from rural areas belonging to the poorest of the poor sections of society.
Mewar University with its motto to reach the unreached youth has succeeded in catering to the youth from all 29 States of India, while also having students hailing from 20 countries outside the nation.

For Bachelors Program
1. Percentage Marks (%) above 85% in 12th class – Flat scholarship of Rs 10,000/- in Tution fee on our concessional fee structure.
2. Percentage Marks (%) 80%-85% in 12th class – Flat scholarship of Rs 7500/- in Tution fee on our concessional fee structure.
3. Percentage Marks (%) 75%-80% in 12th class – Flat scholarship of Rs 5000/- in Tution fee on our concessional fee structure.
4. Percentage Marks (%) 70%-75% in 12th class - Flat scholarship of Rs 3000/- in Tution fee on our concessional fee structure.
For Polytechnic Diploma
1. Percentage Marks (%) above 85% in 10th or 12th class – Flat scholarship of Rs 10,000/- in Tution fee on our concessional fee structure.
2. Percentage Marks (%) 80%-85% in 10th or 12th class – Flat scholarship of Rs 7500/- in Tution fee on our concessional fee structure.
3. Percentage Marks (%) 75%-80% in 10th or 12th class – Flat scholarship of Rs 5000/- in Tution fee on our concessional fee structure.
4. Percentage Marks (%) 70%-75% in 10th or 12th class - Flat scholarship of Rs 3000/- in Tution fee on our concessional fee structure.
Note:- This scholarship scheme is only available for Polytechnic Diploma and UG courses only. Hostel fees remains same as Rs, 70,000/- per year in each category.
3. SCHOLARSHIP BASED ON SOCIAL CATEGORY.
1. SC/ST/Minority OBC Category – Rs. 85,000/- (Including Registration, Tution and Hostel).
Note:- This scholarship scheme is available for all UG and PG courses except Pharmacy (B.Pharma and Pharm.D) and Physiotherapy (BPT) courses. Hostel is mandatory for student to avail.
4. SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDED TO STUDENTS OF SPECIAL STATES
1. Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh -

(i) Rs. 1,00,000/- (Including Registration, Tution and Hostel) for all Courses.
Note:- This scholarship scheme is available for all UG and PG courses except Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D). Hostel is mandatory for student to avail.

6. SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR GIRL STUDENTS:
The University also awards a 50% concession in the registration fee for girl students/aspirants every year.
Important Note:- Student can avail benefit of any ONE scholarship scheme only during the programme duration and is not allowed to change/ shift/ merge with any other scholarship scheme except “Special Scholarship for Girl students”.
