An expert lecture on “How to Write a Research Paper” was successfully conducted for Post Graduate students on 24 December 2025 at the Mewar University campus. The lecture was organized by the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Technology, with the objective of enhancing research writing skills among postgraduate students.
The session was delivered by Dr. Ajay Kumar, a distinguished academician and researcher. He explained the fundamental structure of a research paper, including the selection of a research topic, formulation of objectives, literature review, methodology, analysis, and conclusion. He also guided students on writing abstracts, keywords, and references in a systematic and ethical manner.
Dr. Ajay Kumar emphasized the importance of originality, clarity, and proper citation to avoid plagiarism. He shared practical tips on choosing suitable journals, understanding the peer-review process, and improving the quality of research publications. The lecture was interactive, and students actively participated by asking questions related to research writing and publication challenges.
