Today, the Department of Education, Mewar University has organized an online Extension Lecture on “The Challenges and Possibilities in Indian Education in light of Global Scenario. The chief speaker was Dr. Soma Mukharjee, Ghaziabad, a great dignitary. She started her lecture with the Ashram Education system in ancient India and how it evolved pre and post-independence in our country along with its diversity and multi-lingual system all over the country. Expressing her unique and rich views on Education, she focused that the present education needs for Digital Transformation in the global scenario. As the time and system of education pattern are changing rapidly due to the technical advancement in every sphere, we would have to adopt digitalization to facilitate the essential content to modern learners. 
During this extension lecture Dr. Pooja Gupta and Dr. Shantilal Bamta, with the Faculty Members and the students of B. Ed., D. El. Ed, and B. P. Ed were present in it. In the beginning, Dr. Aruna Dube, the Principal, Dept. of B.Ed., welcomed and introduced Dr. Soma Mukharjee. At the end of her impressive lecture, Shri S. L. Tailor, the lecturer, thanked her.
