One Day Workshop on “Do it yourself-Filing of Income Tax Return” was conducted at Maharana Pratap Seminar Hall on Friday 27th September, 2019. The Aim of workshop was to provide basic knowledge about income tax and give practical exposure on how to file income tax return.
The key note speaker was Chartered Accountant cum Company Secretary, Mrs. Shweta Agarwal; Chartered Accountant, Mr. Arpit Airun; & Company Secretary Miss. Nikita Vijayvergiya.
The workshop was conducted in simple language and with real form and real time online demonstration on Income Tax Website.
Number of students from various disciplines & Faculty Members were present. Output of the workshop was to understand how to file income tax return, various IT forms, Income Tax Return of Salaried Employee, Form No.16, Form 26AS, benefits of filing IT return etc.
Mr. Arpit gave his presentation on how & where to invest your money. He advised to faculty members that they should make their investment in diversified manner. He also advised to students always keep away form sponzy scheme. Approx 250 faculty members & students were present in the workshop. At the end of session students & faculty raised their doubts in query session. This workshop was organised by the Department of Management. Vote of thanks was given by HOD, Management, Mr. Rajesh Bhatt.

Session was ended with paying tribute to Mr Ashiq Ahmed Mir, passed out student of BBA 2017 Batch, who passed away day before workshop. At Last National Anthem was sung.
