4th convocation of Mewar University was held on 27th April, 2019 at University Campus, Gangrar, Chittorgarh (Raj.). Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Chairperson, Dr. V. K. Vaidya, President, Dr. Venkata V.P.R.P, Registrar, Shri Govind Ji Gadiya, Secretary, Mewar Education Society & BOM, Member, Deans of different Faculties, HODs and students were present at the function. Program started with arrival of academic procession followed by flag hoisting and lamp lighting. Then kulgeet of the University was sung to mark the beginning of the Convocation. Welcome address was delivered by Dr. Venkata VPRP, Registrar, Mewar University. Degrees to all the students who have passed their courses up to session 2017-18 were awarded on this day. Ph.D. degrees were awarded to 94 candidates and M. Phil. to 05 candidates.
Prof. V. K. Vaidya, President, Mewar University presented convocation address with the annual report of the University, highlighting all the academic achievements and activities of the University conducted throughout the year.
Presidential address was delivered by Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Chairperson, Mewar University. He emphasized on the need of sensitivity and sense of responsibility towards nation. He also congratulated all the candidates who had received their degrees and emphasized on the understanding of democracy for betterment of the nation.
Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. C K Sharma Dean, Academics at the end of the programme.
