Mahaveer Jayanti was celebrated at Mewar University on 16th April 2019. The programme started with lamp lighting done by Dr. C.K. Sharma, Dean Academics and Dr. Gulzar Ahmed, Head, Physics Dept. A speech was given on the life of Mahaveer Swami by Mintoo Mahaseth, a student of B.Tech. I Year, he further detailed about the teachings of Mahaveer Swami. Moving ahead in the programme a prayer is sung by Ms. Ranjeeta and Ms. Nishu students of diploma first year and a dance was also performed by Ms. Sweety Kumari student of B.Sc Agriculture. A ppt. was shown, on the basis of ppt. a quiz was organized by Ms. Anjali and Mr. Ihaan, students of B.Tech. Ist year in which they asked some questions related to the life of Mahaveer Swami. Coming to the end of the programme vote of thanks was given by Ms. Pooja bathra Asst. Prof., Dept. of Physics. The anchoring of the program was done by Mr. Saurabh Kumar and Mr. Prashant Kumar. Finally the programme ended with National Anthem.
