National seminar on ” Advance Technologies in Agriculture, Engineering and Applied Sciences to Maximize  the Farmer’s Income organized byFaculty of Agriculture and veterinary Sciences  held on 06/04/19, Saturday in which all faculty members and committee members contributed their efforts to make it successful . More than 340 students and faculties registered in which around 40 students were from other universities. The welcome address was delivered by convener Dr. Gunnjeet Kaur. All the higher authorities of the university were present.  Prof R.K. Paliwal was invited as chief guest of the event. Dr. R. L. Shuwalka , Dean , School of Agriculture , CPU, Kota was  invited as Special invitee, he delivered his lecture on soil health management . Seven Resource persons  who have achieved prestigious name in their respective fields ingratiated us with their valuable lectures related to role of agriculture in promoting farmers income       Dr. S. B. S. Pandey (Associate Professor &   HOD, Silvi. & Agroforestry, CH&F JWR) discussed about “IMPLICATIONS OF AGROFORESTRY SYSTEMS/PRACTICES IN THE ARENA OF CLIMATE CHANGE FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF FARMER'S INCOME” He  covered all  the current facilities provided by government for farmers.Dr. Devender Jain    (Molecular biology and Biotechnology ,Assistant Professor, RCA, Udaipur) explained about importance of “NANO BIOFERTILIZERS AND ITS EFFECT ON PLANT GROWTH PROMOTION”  by applying Nano fertilizers we can minimize the consumption of fertilizers by increasing the surface area.Dr. S. K. Acharya   (Assistant Professor, Horticulture,S. K. Nagar Gujarat) presented his seminar on  “SEED PRODUCTION OF VEGETABLE CROPS UNDER     PROTECTED  CONDITIONS” and basic knowledge about horticulture and poly houses. Dr. O.P. Bhatt  Retd. Depty Director ,Veterinary Science, Bhilwara discused about the preventive disease in animals .Dr. Balwant Meshram ,Associate Professor, Veterinary Science , R.AJUVAS, Udaipur delivered his vast knowledge about “OVERVIEW OF PRINCIPLES AND APPLICATIONS   IN PREVENTION OF ANIMAL DISEASES”  .The technical session was conducted by Dr. Manvendr Singh ,Mr Siddharth Barhat and Dr. Gulzar Ahmed. Finally the Seminar repoted by Dr. B.K. Sharma Sir. Not only students even faculties of science, engineering and agriculture department learned advance technologies  in agriculture. Poster presentation was also done , Ramesh and mahendra Rana diploma Animal Husbandry students and student from Jhalwar (Raj) won  First Prize in various themes. The most sparkling part of the seminar is not only academics people but also the framers of near by village were part of it .The sarpanch of khuntia village was felicitated by Dr. K.K. Bhatti , Secretary  of seminar The framers also  interacted with agriculture scientists and their queries were solved . In the end the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr Gautam Sigh Dhaked Co-convener of the seminar.Excellent feedback was received from staff in response to the seminar .
