Mr. Samer Khan, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering and Applied Research attended the One Young World Summit 2014 as an invited speaker, which was held in Dublin last month. During this visit, Mr. Khan visited various prominent locations, which included Google's Headquarters of Europe and Guiness Storehouse, bestowing his experience on human rights in MENA Region to the youth of coming from around the globe.Addtionally world reknowned documentarian Yann Arthus during this trip was inspired by Mr. Khan and has recorded a short video of Mr. Khan for his upcoming movie The Human.(more details on the movie http://www.human-themovie.org )
Now after a global election from youth all aroud the world Mr. Khan has been elected as global coordinating ambassador for the MENA Region (Middle East & North Africa), for which he shall be supporting the OYW Community towards their forthcoming conference in 2015 to be held in Thailand. He also encourages all the students and faculty of the University to attend such international gatherings and participate in collaborative projects locally and internationally.
