Industrial Visit at Nitin Spinners Limited, Bhilwara, Rajasthan

Industrial Visit Report On 03rd December 2022, students of Management and Commerce along with 2 faculty members visited NITIN SPINNERS LIMITED headquarter’s is located at 16-17 Km. Stone, Chittor Road Hamirgarh Bhilwara, Rajasthan, 311025 India.  

We were assembled and taken to the weaving unit of 9-A. There we had a look at the rows of weaving machines which were weaving cloth at a rate of 650 RPM. The cloth being woven was of 350 cm width. Here compressed air blowers were circulating in the unit to blow of any excess lint and threads which may disrupt the working of the weaving unit. After spending some time in the room, we were giving a through insight by the production manager on floor. It was interesting to know that 80,000 meters of cloth is being woven every day.

Nitin Spinners Ltd is an Indian ISO 9001:2000 certified textile manufacturing company based in Bhilwara. NITIN SPINNERS LIMITED is in the industry of Fiber, Yarn, and Thread Mills. NITIN SPINNERS LIMITED's sales is $357.61 million. We got to know that its main business involves weaving, knitting, processing, home textiles, ready-made garments and polyester yarns and that it exports 90% of its products to over 65 countries in the US, Europe, South America, Asia and Africa.

The industry's contribution towards eco-friendly production.

  • ·  Raw material consumption on daily basis and textile production rate.
  • ·  Way of reusing and disposing of waste generated were discussed.

The machines keep working 24 hours a day and are all imported from Belgium. The machines are equipped with latest technologies which stops the machine if even one thread is broken. This ensures high quality and efficient working of the weaving unit. By 03:00 pm we departed from Nitin Spinners.

The students showed great eagerness and curiosity to know about this process. The company's manager took a separate training session for the students and assured them of placement in the company. This industrial tour was organized under the guidance of Vice - Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Alok Mishra, Director, Guidance and Placement Department, Mr. Harish Gurnani. The industrial tour was conducted in conjunction with Department Head Dr. Rajesh Bhatt and Assistant Professor Mr. Raj Singh &  Mr. Vikram Singh. Students of BBA, MBA, B.Com and BBA L.L.B were involved in this visit.
