One day State Level Workshop on “VIRTUAL LABS: IIT DELHI” on 4th September 2019

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Mewar University in Association with IIT Delhi (an initiative of MHRD, Govt. of India under NMEICT) Conducted the one day State Level Workshop on “VIRTUAL LABS on 4 September, 2019 at Mewar University campus.

  • Virtual Labs project is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India under the aegis of National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT).
  • This project is a consortium activity of 12 participating institutes and IIT Delhi is coordinating institute.
  •  The Virtual Labs are being jointly developed by IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIIT Hyderabad, and NITK.

This program was targeted for the Faculty members as well as Students of Faculty of Engineering & Technology and Science and Technology.

 

Objective of the Workshop:-

 

Mewar University is Nodal Center of IIT Delhi for Virtual Lab. Under the banner of IIT Delhi and Virtual Lab (an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India) the Workshop is organized. The main purpose of the workshop To understand the concept of Virtual Labs for remote experiment and gain hands-on experience on Virtual Labs and to provide a complete Learning Management System where the students can avail the various  tools for learning, including additional web-resources, video-lectures, animated demonstrations and self evaluation.192 students and faculties has participated in the Workshop.

 

Program:-

 

The registration of the candidates was done before the inauguration of the program.The Inauguration program started with the traditional Lamp lighting and garlanding Goddess Saraswati by invited guests and authorities of Mewar University.

 

 The welcome address was given by Nodal center Coordinator and Workshop Coordinator Mohammed Firdos Sheikh, Department of Computer science & engineering. The floral welcome of the Experts from IIT Delhi by Prof. (Dr.) Tanveer ahmed Kazi, Dean Engineering, Mewar University.The Experts of IIT Delhi Conducted the two sesson in first session They
