The department of Mechanical Engineering on24 april, 2019, has organised a one day workshop on 3D printing. More than 100 students of Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering have participated in it. The main purpose of the workshop was to familiarize the students with the latest technology of 3D printing and to know how it is being used in the industry. Also the workshop was aimed to provide the practical skills and to provide guidance in the completion of projects by using the technique. The workshop was coordinated by Mr. KapilNahar( HoD, Mechanical). Faculty members of Mechanical Department Mr. Sunil Katheria, Mr. Dinesh Kumar and Mr. JavedAkhtar also extended their support in successful conduction of the workshop. The speakers Mr. Vimal Gupta and Ms. DikshaSadhwani explained the working of 3D printer.
