15thSeptember was celebrated as an Engineer’s day in the memory of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya who was the first Civil Engineer. In Mewar University this day was celebrated by Civil Engineering Department in the prayer hall (R.No 28).On this special day as usual, all the faculty members and students were gathered to make this event successful. All the faculty members of Civil Engineering department welcome the guest and other staff members.
The program was initiated by our Dy. Dean, Mr. D.K.Sharma by garlanding the saraswati idol. Then he delivered motivational and inspirational speech to engineers and students. He also focused on the life story of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. After that
students showed their talent in various fields. They also performed various cultural activities like dancing, singing and drama.
The event came to end by vote of thanks by Mr. Avinesh kumar, HOD, Civil Engineering Department.
