Mewar University to ring in the new year with TECHNO-ZEAL

Mewar University will be organizing a Technical Fest from 13th January 2015 to 20th January 2015. 21st January 2015 will be celebrated as the “Annual Function Day”.

During “Techno-Zeal 2014-15”, various events will be organized by different Departments of the University.

Following are the details of the various Events of Techno - Zeal:

13th-14th Jan 2015 : Workshop on “GESTURE CONTROLLED ROBOT”

14th-15th Jan 2015 : Workshop on “FOUNDATTION ANALYSIS”

13th – 20th Jan 2015 : “SPORTS , TECHNICAL AND CULTURAL EVENTS”

21st Jan 2015 : “ANNUAL FUNCTION DAY”

 

WORKSHOP ON GESTURE CONTROLLED ROBOT: Organized and certified by Technophilia Systems and Robotics and Computer Application Institute of USA. This workshop is an integral part of Indo-US Robotics League, which has Guinness world record. A working robot which is provided to a group of 5 students and there are 2 International certificates will be provided to the participating candidates from the above mentioned companies.

WORKSHOP ON FOUNDATTION ANALYSIS: Organized and certified by Civil Simplified. This workshop is for the students of civil engineering, B.SC, B-tech, Diploma, and ITI .You will be taught the use of various software and various techniques for FOUNDATION ANALYSIS. After the workshop participating candidates will get a certificate from the above mentioned company.

GREEN BUILD:

Make an eco-friendly construction of buildings or give a prototype of ideas of such structure that can help in saving resources and energy and also to harvest from them

SEISMIC BUILD:

Earthquakes are one of the most common natural disasters. In this event, participants have to design a prototype of seismic resistant construction and also various constructions that can stand various other natural calamity like tornado , flood ,fire, lightning, war, etc

DARWIN’S CODE:

“It is neither the fittest nor the mightiest but the species that is most adaptable to change survives”

CHARLES DARWIN (ORIGIN OF SPECIES):

It is a pharmacy and agriculture event where the various species of flora and fauna are described which adapted to such change either naturally Or scientifically forced.

HARVEST GEEK:

Show the hybrid of various technology used in field of agriculture sciences through working models or prototypes.

DRUGGIST GUILD:

A presentation on modern day medicines and modern day therapies and breakthrough in these fields.

ALCHEMIST HUT:

Explain various chemical reactions and show any working prototype of it. Participants have to submit their abstract a day before to their coordinators.

TEARS OF SUN:

“We have not borrowed this world from our ancestors but we are stealing it from our children”. Give remedy to various environment based problems and happening or causes of these problems presentation based event.

ARISTOTLE’S FALLACY:

This event will test the mettle in the field of physics on various laws and theorems

 round 2) quiz based on presentations.

QUIZART:

This is a mathematical aptitude based quiz. Law for a law-(group of 2 studens are allowed) law based event

Relic hunter-(group of three to four students are allowed)

ROBOZEST:

“Any undistinguishable technology is equivalent to magic”

To show the realm of this magic we introduce this event where various types of robots have to be designed to various types of task..

Participants have to submit their abstract a day before the event to the coordinator

An optional training program will be given to the students few days before the events by the coordinators. And resources will be provided against the charge. And after that the participants have to design a task performing robot of any kind.

CIRCUIT SHOCK:

.Round 1) quiz round based on theory and component identification

Round 2) explain the functioning of circuit given to you and practically make it (circuit will be from course)
