“E-Week-2017”
A Unique Experience of Excellence and Innovations
As a part of Engineers Day celebration,Dept. of Electrical Engineering through Technical Today Club organised an event “E-Week-2017” for the excellent and innovative student communities of Mewar University. The event was spread over 5 days of the week, i.e. from 11th September 2017 to 15th September 2017. The following were the activities of E-Week celebrations.

· E-Day Celebration
The E-Week-2017 was inaugurated by Prof. V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai (President, Mewar University) on 11th September 2017. On 11th September 2017 the activity Arting Science was conducted at Mewar University First Floor Gallery and next day on 12th September 2017 the activity Dream Big was conducted at Maharana Pratap Seminar Hall. Activities ‘Talking Point’ and ‘Masterminds’ was conducted on 13th and 14th September 2017 repectively at Technical Today Club. Around 200 students participated in all the activities of E-Week-2017.
On the final day, i.e. on 15th September 2017, Engineers Day was celebrated in presence of Mr. Shashank Kr. Diwedi (Editor, Technical Today), there was a Guest Lecture on “Challenges on Science Writing” by Dr. Manish Mohan Gore (Scientist, Vigyan Prasar, Dept. of Science & Technology, Governmentof India) at 11.30 PM at Maharana Pratap Seminar Hall. Dr. Manish Mohan Gore with his excellent lecture and interactive session has enlightened students and faculty members mind with the challenges, importance and scope of Science Writing in this present scenario. At 2.30 PM there was an Anti-Drugs campaign by Abhyuday Foundation, an NGO from Chittorgarh (Raj.) in which Narcotics Officers Mr. Sudhir Yadav & Mr. S.K. Phatak has interacted with audience and made them aware of the Positive and Negative Effects of using them. At last the Prize & certificate distribution ceremony was conducted for winners of various events held during the week.
