It’s a matter of inexplicable satisfaction and jubilation to inform MU Family, that Department of ECE is organizing a 10 days’ Workshop on Basic Circuit & PCB Design using EdWinXP, from last Wednesday, Feb 10. About 200 students from ECE, EEE, EE & CSE branches have attended the first two day’s common session which was held in the Mewar University Campus (Raj.) at Maharana Pratap Seminar Hall.
The purpose of the event is to provide exposure to Design Basic circuits & their PCB design & application of Microcontroller in various circuitsand also to develop curiosity in students in the field of Electronic Design and dream project of Central Govt. i.e.“MAKE IN INDIA”.
Dr. R.K. Paliwal, Dean of Basic Sciences, explained the benefits of organizing and participating in such type of workshops. He also explained the utilization of such skills in Industries as well as in everyday life.
The workshop's first common session on Wednesday, Feb 10,conducted by Mr. Syed Arif Ali (Faculty in ECE) covered the all possible aspects of working on EdWinXP EDA Tool, Designing steps of Analog Electronic circuits using 555 Timer IC and PCB Layout development steps. A Breadboard Demo was presented by Mr. Anupam Panja (T.A.) and Mr. Jitesh Kumar (T.A.) in front of students.
The workshop's second common session on Thursday, Feb 11, conducted by Mr. RiteshOjha (Faculty in ECE) covered the field of Digital Electronics. He explained about embedded systems, Microcontrollers, programming technique and application of embedded systems in everyday life and also explained designing steps of projects using microcontroller on EdWinXP EDA Tool.
The forthcoming Practice sessions of workshop will be organized in Software lab and PCB Design lab for upcoming next 8 Days.
