Mewar University, in a first of its kind initiative, invites applications from the students of Navodyaya Vidyalays, who have passed the 10+2 Examination, for education in any of the chosen disciplines offered by the University. Mewar University will be selecting the meritorious applicants (based on the Marks scored in the +2 Exams) for the forthcoming Academic Session 2015-16. The applicants are free to choose their preferred stream of studies. Applicants may apply online. Last date of form submission: 30-06-2015.
a) Reservation for Rural, S.C., S.T. and Girl Students of J.N.V. Students
Like Jawahar Navodyaya Vidyalaya, Mewar University also focuses primarily on children from the rural areas, with provisions of 75% seats for rural children. Seats are also reserved for children from the SC and ST communities in proportion to the national average. 1/3 of the seats are reserved for girl students whereas 3% of the seats are reserved for disabled children.
