As 2014 drew to its close, Mewar University’s international collaboration gained a new momentum, with our Hon’ble Chairperson, Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, having successfully concluded a trip to South Korea. Dr. Gadiya’s zeal to forge new partnerships with international universities/institutions to enhance our students’ employability knows no bounds and South Korea figures at the top of his list when it comes to seeking collaboration in technical education.
During his visit, he interacted with Pyeogtaek University with which Mewar University already has an MOU. The visit strengthened the bond of mutual trust and paved the way for a healthy academic exchange between different departments, especially that of Social Work.
Dr. Gadiya also visited Korea Polytechnic University and Dankook University located in the province of Gyeonggi-do, the most populous province in South Korea, and successfully explored the possibilities of having training and internship programs for our Engineering students. The journey was yet another accomplishment for Mewar University in seeking International academic partnership. This will certainly brighten the future prospects of our Engineering students as they gradually move towards their professional careers.
