Mr. Samer Khan, Assistant Professor , Mechanical Engineering and Applied Research has been selected as one of the 36 speakers out of the 1400 delegates attending One Young World Summit to be held in Dublin (Ireland) from the 15th to 19th October 2014. He is also recipient of the All Bar None Scholarship award by the One Young World Conference Organizing Committee which is going to cover his conference fees and travel arrangements totaling to around 3500 Euros as the scholarship.
One Young World is an annual Summit where the most valuable young talent from global and national companies, NGO's, universities and other forward-thinking organizations are joined by world leaders, acting as the One Young World Counsellors. At the Summit, delegates’ debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for the pressing issues the world faces.
At past Summits delegates were joined by a line-up of Counsellors that included Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, Bil Clinton, Bob Geldof, Kofi Annan, Sir Richard Branson, Professor Muhammad Yunus, Jamie Oliver, Jack Dorsey and Arianna Huffington. While this year’s summit will also witness Former President Toledo – Peru, Former President Ardito-Barletta – Panama and Former President Fox – Mexico.
Mr. Khan during this summit shall also be visiting the Google European Head Quarters situated in Dublin.
