Book on University System and Special Issue of JIR released at MU

Ghaziabad: Professor M. M. Ansari, member of the UGC, released the book entitled ‘Teaching and Learning Skills in University System’ jointly written by Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Chancellor, Mewar University and Dr. Ram Chandra, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Cavendish University, Zambia. On this occasion, Professor Ansari also released the Special Issue of Journal of Indian Research (JIR), Mewar University’s research journal. The journal has successfully completed a year of its publication. The function was organized at the auditorium of Mewar University’s Ghaziabad camp office.

Professor Ansari stated that the book will create a ripple of interest among academician and all those associated with the university education system in India and abroad because of its erudition and the wide range of new ideas discussed that may revolutionize the entire education delivery system. He added that the book will eventually become a milestone in the world of academia.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Gadiya, MU Chancellor, said that Mewar University believes in extending the frontiers of education. He added that Mewar University aims to evolve a system where students who are not so talented as well as teachers who are not so experienced can also thrive and cross new milestones in their career. He further added that the university already has two-way teaching system. From time to time, the University celebrated the Jayantis of national icons so that our students can imbibe a sense of nationalism and feel strongly to be part of the mainstream. Dr. Gadiya informed that the University has now 550 books, which is a record in itself, to be used by the students as study material for various courses.

Earlier, the function began with the lighting of lamps by honourable guests. Dr. Gadiya presented Professor Ansari with a bouquet and a shawl. Present on the occasion were Professor H. S. Sharma, eminent educationist, Shri Ram Bahadur Rai, well-known journalist, Bharat Bhushan, Director General, Law Department and Shri Niraj Kumar, Editor, Journal of Indian Research.

Dr. Alka Agarwal, Director, Mewar University, delivered a vote of thanks. The entire program was conducted successfully by Dr. Anshu Tyagi.
