Celebration of 126 Birth Anniversary
of Dr.Bhim Rao Ambedkar
On April 13, 2017 Department of Computer Science & Engineering celebrated 126th Birth Anniversary of India’s First Law Minister Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar (Baba Saheb).
Celebration started with Saraswati Vandana and Lamp lighting and followed by inspirational speeches and short movie created by Mr Praveen Subba and Mr. Jwangma Basumatry, students of B.Tech. (CSE) II year.
Speech was delivered by Prof. R. K. Paliwal (Dean, Basic Science, Mewar University).He focused on the life journey of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar and also described deeds of Baba Saheb. Then a small video clip describing Baba Saheb’s great contribution in establishment of Indian Constitution and up- liftment of dalits was displayed.
The celebration ended with the inspirational speech of Ms Komal Mulchandani describing the great thoughts of religion amended by Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
