Third blood donation camp held in memory of Late Shri Nand Lal Ji Gadiya at MU

Chittorgarh:Mewar University organized a “Blood Donation Camp” on 1^st March, 2015. This was the third blood donation camp in Mewar University to mark the 4^th anniversary of Late Shri Nand Lal Ji Gadiya. The inaugural function of blood donation camp started with lightning of the Lamp and chanting of Saraswati Vandana.

Dr. Sanyam Singhvi, Director, Saral Bank was welcomed by Dr. Gaurav Tiwari and Our Honorable Chancellor Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya was felicitated by Dr. Ajit Joshi in a traditional manner.

The function was followed by the recital of a poem by a student of Mewar University, which signified the importance of blood donation.

Dr. Sanyam Singhviin his speech threw light on the Blood Donation and shared knowledge on who can donate it and who cannot. Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Chancellor, Mewar University also urged students in his speech and said that it is an opportunity for students to give something to our society.

In the third blood donation camp, a total of 548 units of blood were donated.

The function ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. R.K. Paliwal, Dean, Basic Sciences.
