Celebration of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose jayanti

The department of Mathematics, Mewar University, celebrated Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti with great pride and pleasure on Jan 23, 2015. The eminent personalities and the educationists inaugurated the Jayanti by lighting the lamps before Maa Saraswati and Subash Chandra Bose.

Hon`ble Management representative Mr. Sunil K. Gadiya, Dr. R.K. Paliwal, Dean Basic Sciences, Mr. M. Sudershanam, Registrar, Mr. H. Widhani, OSD, Prof. A. K. Verma Dean Agriculture, Dr. Harish Nagar, Director Research, were graciously present during the ceremony along with all the teaching faculties of the Mathematics department. All the HODs, faculty members and technical assistants of other departments were also present on this occasion.

Dr. R.K. Paliwal, Dean Basic Sciences delivered an enlightening speech on the life and the works of Subash Chandra Bose. The OSD, Mewar University Mr. H. Widhani motivated the young students with his inspiring words.

Dr. Harish Nagarrecited a poem based on Subash Chandra Bose’s life. The student of Diploma I year, Kamlesh Kumar sang a beautiful song ‘Hindu chahiye na musalman chahiye, sab majhab se pyar karne vala insane chahiye…’. Then Sharda Vyas, a B. Ed. Student sang a nice song followed by a running documentary video on Subash Chandra Bose.

 Mr. Gopal, the university’s music teacher sang a song on subhash Chandra Bose which was followed by a patriotic song ‘Ae mere vatan ke log…’by a student of B. Ed., Ms. Rajani. Soon after, a short quiz was conducted by Mr. Gopal K. Joshi, Faculty, Dept. Of mathematics.

The celebrations came to an end with the singing of ‘National Anthem.
