The department of chemistry is in its transitional state from innocent infancy to vibrant youthfulness. The University has entered in its 13 year of existence. The present state, a reality in itself, is due to the equivocal commitment of the head and all faculty members. The department commenced with one faculty in 2009 but today we are proud to say that the department has expanded regularly with number of teachers and supporting staff.
The vision of the department is to develop competent chemist to meet contemporary and emerging challenges for social benefits.
The department is successfully running B.Sc., M.Sc. & Ph.D. Programmes. The department has well-equipped amply ventilated and spacious labs not only for engineering chemistry, Environmental science and Chemistry but also for research students. The faculty is committed and sincerely involved in counseling and other curricular and co-curricular activities conducted by the department. The faculties of the department are encouraged by the management to attend seminars, conferences and trainings for paper presentation and also provide facility for further research work.
