The growing complexity of modern society has laid to increasing demand for associating specialists in this field. Similarly Social Work, which is associated with the Development Sector, has extensive potential. This can be judged by the yeoman service rendered by the NGOs to the society. The University, recognising the potential in these fields, has introduced suitable programmes.
